Why
should I buy Orange Glo Wood Polish?
- It
doesn't leave an oily or waxy residue on surfaces
after use and contains no alcohol, wax or water.
- It
easily removes grease, wax and accumulated dust and
grime.
- It
won't irritate your hands.
What
are some ways I could effectively use Orange Glo Wood
Cleaner and Polish?
Orange
Glo is made from pure orange oil, which naturally
cleans, polishes and protects wood. The orange oil
is like Vitamin C for your wood, nourishing furniture
and cabinets that have become dull from exposure to
various elements. It never leaves a buildup like other
wood polishes, and it protects against future damage.
Once Orange Glo is sprayed on a surface, that surface
has an invisible shield on it that repels dust, fingerprints
and dirt. Orange Glo is not just for wood, however;
it can be used on a variety of hard surfaces. Please
use the guidelines below when using Orange Glo (These
directions refer to the Orange Glo spray bottle. If
you have the 8 oz. Orange Glo that does not come with
a sprayer, pour a quarter-sized drop onto a soft clean
cloth and apply to surface):
Kitchen
Cabinets:
Spray Orange
Glo onto kitchen cabinets, (both wood and non-wood surfaces).
Leave on for 2-3 minutes and wipe with a soft clean
cloth. For heavy grease or finger oil buildup around
handle pulls, use a scrub pad to lightly go over surface.
Antiques:
Spray Orange Glo onto antiques, leave on for 15-20 minutes
in order for Orange Glo to draw out old buildup, and
wipe with a soft clean cloth. For heavy wax buildup,
Orange Glo may be applied several times. Orange Glo
goes deep down into the grain to draw out old wax and
dirt.
Dining Tables, Coffee Tables,
End Tables:
Spray Orange Glo onto table, wait one minute, and
wipe with a soft clean cloth. Repeat if necessary.
Water Spots (on wood):
Spray Orange Glo onto water spot. Leave on for 15 minutes,
and wipe with a soft clean cloth. Repeat if necessary.
If the water spot has damaged your wood, it may be necessary
to call a professional.
Dusting:
Spray Orange Glo onto a dusting cloth or terry cloth
towel. Go over items to be dusted with cloth. When cloth
is dry, spray more Glo onto cloth. Can be used to dust
wood, floorboards, furniture, paneling, walls, ceilings,
electronics, dishes, and more.
Fingerprints:
Orange Glo takes off fingerprints as well as protects
surfaces from future fingerprints. Spray Orange Glo
onto polishing cloth and wipe away fingerprints.
Shower Stalls:
Spray Orange Glo onto shower stall where soap film is
present, wait 5 minutes, and wipe clean with sponge.
Use scrub pad if necessary.
Formica:
Orange Glo easily removes grease & grime from Formica.
Spray Orange Glo onto Formica and wipe with a soft cloth
or sponge.
Tar:
Whether
it's tar on your car, your floor, or your driveway,
Orange Glo removes it easily. Spray Orange Glo directly
onto tar. Wait 15 minutes for the grease to break up.
For scratch-resistant surfaces such as cement or ceramic
tile, use a brush to break up grease even further. For
more sensitive surfaces such as cars, use a cloth to
wipe off tar. Rinse area with soapy water. Repeat if
necessary.
Metal Fixtures:
Orange
Glo removes water spots from stainless steel and other
metal fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen. Spray Orange
Glo onto cloth, wipe down fixtures, and buff with a
dry towel.
Wood with cloth or fabric
near it:
For
wood with fabric near it (such as couches with wooden
legs/frames and wooden chairs with fabric cushions)
spray Orange Glo onto a soft cloth and wipe onto wooden
surface. Go over surface again with a clean cloth.
Tile Walls:
Spray
Orange Glo onto tile, wait 5 minutes and wipe with sponge
or cloth. Floors: Add Orange Glo to a bucket using one
tablespoon of Orange Glo per quart (32 oz.) of water.
(The reason that diluting is necessary is because the
Orange Glo can be very slippery.) Dip mop into bucket,
squeeze excess water and go over entire floor with mop.
For spot-cleaning tile floors, simply spray Orange Glo
directly from bottle onto dirty area, wipe with sponge,
then wipe with a cloth and plain water.
Dashboards:
Orange
Glo can be used on dashboards and vinyl consoles in
cars & boats, but is not recommended for steering wheels
because of the slippery nature of orange oil. Spray
Orange Glo onto dashboard or console and wait 5 minutes.
Wipe with a clean soft cloth. For really tough dirt
and grime, reapply.
Banisters:
Orange
Glo can be sprayed on stair banisters to clean off years
of fingerprints and dirt. Please do not use Orange Glo
on wooden stairs - it can make them slippery. Spray
onto banister and wait 5 minutes, wipe with clean cloth.
Banister may be slick while Orange Glo dries.
Crayon:
For
households with children, Orange Glo is perfect for
use on crayon messes. Whether it's on the walls, floors,
or wood, spray Orange Glo onto clean cloth, rub away
crayon, rinse with soapy water and sponge.
Greasy Hands:
Orange
Glo is safe enough to spray onto greasy hands...mechanics
love it! Simply spray Orange Glo onto hands and wipe
with a clean cloth. Rinse hands with soapy water and
dry. Orange Glo can be used on both the inside and outside
of microwave ovens. Spray Orange Glo on inside/outside
of microwave, wait 5-10 minutes depending on amount
of dirt, and wipe with a sponge.
VCRs, TVs, Sewing Machines:
Spray
Orange Glo onto a soft clean cloth and wipe area.
Porcelain Dishes:
Antique
dealers have said that using Orange Glo on porcelain
dishes actually restores the color and original lustre.
Spray Orange Glo onto dish and wipe immediately with
a soft clean cloth.
Glass Dishes (vases, crystal):
Orange
Glo amazingly removes white film on glass and crystal.
Pour Orange Glo out and wipe with cloth or rinse out
with water.
Dog/Cat scratches on wood:
Orange
Glo has the ability to restore slightly damaged wood.
Spray Orange Glo directly onto scratches, wait 5-10
minutes, and wipe with soft cloth.
Scruff Marks on wood/tile:
Similar
to scratch marks (above), nicks and scuff marks in wood
and tile disappear with Orange Glo. Spray Orange Glo
onto scuff marks/nicks, wait 5 minutes and wipe with
a soft cloth.
